Maps. Definitely maps in the Hud. With all the things you can picture useful: positions of friendlies, positions of gear, estimated position of not so friendlies..

Hmm. Stadiometric optics, communications, health and ammo levels, sound filtration and UV filters

It sounds like, you've done this before, Leej...

Nope. :) Just thinking what info would a soldier really need with his helmet: distance, health, ammo and UV filter. Keep it simple and it won't blue screen :)

In all those Russian-Ukraine war videos, when a soldier is caught by an explosion, I see their helmets fly violently away. I was thinking that if the helmets were strapped on, wouldn't the neck snap? Later I found out that this was the reason why US soldiers didn't strap on their helmets in the Vietnam war. I wonder how the Legionnaire buckets deal with such kind of situation.

They probably act more like a motorbike helmet than a modern soldier's helmet.

I'll add a high velocity particle shield into it - Acts somewhat like Rechs's bubble shield, to protect the Leej from fatal a headshot.
