I came here to post that I loved the A-10 meme. Dad worked at Wright Patt in the 70s on designing the Gatling gun for that thing, and I remember him making the “gun has a plane” joke.
And a hell of a plane did it have!.....the battlefield damage it could sustain and still fly is truly astounding.....
