Sitting in a Leej dive bar contemplating what to do next with his career, Exo never expected for the bartender to tell him of the discovery of the Cybar.
Thirty-five years prior to the Battle of Kublar, Tyrus Rechs had encountered the original cybar during a rescue operation of a young noble. In their fight and flight from captivity, the general turned war criminal raged against waves of bio-mechanical creatures unleashed to make sure they never made it out.
It took a nuke and Rech’s power shield to escape the cybernetic nightmare.
In the years that followed, reports by leejes who survived the incident, as well as intel gathered by Nether Ops, pointed to the origin of this ancient terror. Certain factions within the House of Reason Security Council demanded the recovery of a specimen, should any be found.
It took almost fifteen years, but the House of Reason secured a living Cybar and alter it into a dangerous machine intelligence to use however they saw fit. Dubbed Project 19, the Cybar was sent into deep space with a single purpose: to build a Doomsday Fleet capable of defending the Republic when called for.
During the decades of isolation, the Cybar had slithered into every aspect of the ships they’d been programmed into and had succumbed to the dark masters that fueled their terrible life force. With time on their side, they waited for someone strong enough, and arrogant enough, to unleash them from their digital slumber.
When a Nether Ops team brought the key to opening Project 19 to the slumbering fleet, the first of the Cybar they encountered were the Titans.
Resembling eight foot tall Warbots, the original Titans were hulking man-shaped war machines with three glowing sensors for eyes. Resembling ancient knights, the war machines wore hardened armor which protected them from the Kill Teams blasters. Their tremendous strength allowed them to carry tri-barrelled N-50s as their principal weapons.
Later on, the galaxy at large would witness the deployment of a phase two. The new model Titans had even more resistant armor, resembling the Hoplites of ancient Greek history. Scanning the battlefield for threats with their three malevolent eyes, each Titan had the firepower of a legion fire team and the armor to use it, as it plodded forward under heavy assault from any enemy.

The Cybar are legit one of the coolest xeno races in GE. I still want to know how the Cybar originated. Who created them? And why were they so easily manipulated by the Dark Ones?
