Well into the area of space the House of Reason refers to as galaxy’s edge, Kublar remains a world of contradictions the Republic would love to settle.
The tribal nature of the people and the presence of hostile aliens have made it nearly impossible to establish a presence on the planet for outsiders. It hasn’t stopped the House of Reason from sending emissaries, and then dispatching the legion to guard the same envoys when they get into trouble.
Extensive news coverage had publicized the battle of Kublar, where the famed Victory Company fought through a deadly ambush in the desert tribal lands on Kublar. The articles were so widespread, the average Republic citizen who even knew about the planet thought it was nothing but desolate sand and tribal factions.
The perception couldn’t be farther from the truth. Kublar hosts a range of landscapes, from the densely grown scrub forests of spoonja and ironwood trees to brilliant coastlines. The city of Subiyook is the jewel of the planet, showcasing the modern conveniences of everyday Repub life for the Kublarens to witness and enjoy.
With the extreme wealth and potential for the planet clearly visible in the “Soob,” it wasn’t long before massive ships carrying waves of Zhee settlers came to force out the native toad-like Kublarens. This has led to chaotic fights between the two races, as well as skirmishes with the Republic looking to keep the peace.
As a Republic, hungry for new planets to dominate, and two warring factions grind against each other, it’s no wonder the planet has become a hotbed of violence. Even in the more cosmopolitan cities hosting a slew of other aliens looking to cash in.
Experience Kublar for the first time in Legionnaire, or see how things have played out in Galaxy’s Edge – SEASON 2.
It all started on Kublar. "The galaxy is a dumpster fire," indeed!
Kublar is the armpit of the galaxy for the Legion...but in a sense the Kublarians are also one group that did stand up when things counted.
