Finishing out the trilogy for REC-TEAM Pelican, Wreck Jumpers 3 sees Mack and his team of Wreck Jumpers still in the cold…but not out of the fight!
Gaining intel that a high-value target is aboard a luxury starliner, REC-Team Pelican hightails it to intercept. Dropping in system, they arrive to find the starliner crashed, enemy combatants swarming the vessel, and thousands of people in need of rescue from the ocean swallowing the ship. And while the REC-team works to avoid dangers at sea, their enemies close in for the kill. Can the team accomplish their mission and save the passengers? Or will their creed to bring the heartbeats home take a back seat to finally exposing the cabal that forced them into hiding?
Oceanic and sub-surface adventure sets the stage for the Wreck Jumpers’ most daring mission. With no allies in reach and enemies at every turn, it’s time for the Wreck Jumpers to accomplish the ultimate rescue…their own.
WHEN WE STARTED
When we started this series in the Order of the Centurion book, Callsign Valkyrie, Jason put a little tag at the end and asked if folks wanted more of the REC-Team’s adventures. And now with Book 3, we have a Mack and the Boys running the most important rescue of their careers.
The cool part about writing the book and pouring that research into the trilogy was all the cool aspects of the job. We had a pipeline to a couple of PJs (pararescue jumpers) and even had a TACP (Tactical Air Control Party) weigh in on the team’s Tackle (TACL - Tactical Air Control Legionnaire).
So as we round out the trilogy to book 3, here’s a little reminder of what the PJs do, where you can almost imagine them in a set of leej armor.
